For more than 15 years, Jim & Kelly Ward of Family Loft have dedicated themselves to building a breeding program centered around proven, world-class racing pigeon genetics. The foundation of Family Loft is made up primarily of Ganus Family Loft bloodlines, with an emphasis on some of the most influential pigeons and families in the sport, including Thomas 6, Raven, Mokolo, Gold Diamond Winner, Pandora, Triple 8, The Golden Couple, Wolverine, and one of the largest collections of Abagail blood in the United States. Over the years, Jim & Kelly have carefully selected and paired these bloodlines with one goal in mind—producing pigeons capable of competing and winning at the highest level.

The results of the Family Loft breeding program can be seen through notable pigeons such as Ransom – 2013 GHC Winner, Midnight Cowboy, After Midnight, Knockout, and Crooked King. Family Loft pigeons have won and placed in the money at major competitions including Crooked River, Flying D, Florida Pigeon Derby, Grainbelt, and Evolution OLR. Their involvement in the pigeon sport extends far beyond their own loft. Jim & Kelly are also the owners of the Hoosier Classic Million-Dollar One Loft Race and Vita King Products, allowing them to remain deeply involved in the racing pigeon community year-round. Their continued focus is simple: invest in the best, breed from proven families, and produce pigeons capable of winning for Family Loft and for fanciers across the country.
