Klaus CarbonStein is a specialized mineral feed supplement designed for racing pigeons and other birds. It combines natural calcium, selected shell minerals, plant-based charcoal, and valuable calcium, sodium and phosphorus compounds.
CarbonStein supports the reduction of undesirable substances in the feed and helps promote stable digestion. It also provides important minerals and trace elements, making it particularly useful during periods of increased nutritional demand, including after illness or medication, during racing, moulting, winter conditioning, and young-bird development.
The product can be offered dry in a separate mineral/grit container. Klaus's current feeding guidance lists approximately 2% during the winter resting period, 3% during racing, 4% during moulting and 5% during young-bird rearing, with a maximum of 7.5% in stressful situations. Klaus also recommends discontinuing use for two days after five days of feeding.
Composition:
Calcium carbonate, shell limestone, calcium-magnesium carbonate, quartz, sodium-calcium-magnesium phosphate, dicalcium phosphate, peat, plant-based charcoal, sodium chloride and seaweed meal.
Offer Klaus CarbonStein dry in a separate container for free intake.
Klaus's feeding recommendations are:
After 5 consecutive days of feeding, discontinue for 2 days before resuming. Other mineral products may be offered during the break.
